Jeremiah 1:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
And before you were born I consecrated you;
I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
The words here “before I formed you” tells us that God is aware of who we are even before we are born into this world.
He has an active role in who we are and has an interest in how we turn out.
Now this does not say he forces us to do anything. It is only telling us He is the one that knows all, sees all, and calls us into all good things. He does not force us. He only makes the declaration over us to guide us into the way we should go. He sees what is best for us before we are born. He knows what we will be best at, and how we can make the best change in the world. We simply need to allow Him to speak into our lives and take heed to the direction he has given.
- What would life be like If God did not know you or make declarations over you before you were born?
- How has your life been affected by Him declaring over you and speaking into your destiny?
