Peru was an adventure.

It was nether like I expected, nor were the conditions like I had imagined. Yet I did see deep spiritual need and many opportunities for the locals in the jungle to receive help.

Several basic needs are:

  • Children needing shoes
  • Water Purification
  • Solar Power
  • Biblical Instruction
  • Study Materials

One of the first things I noticed during the pastors’ conference was the desperate need in the people. This was further reinforced when I ventured out into the villages up to 5 hours by boat down the river. The local Pastors were so desperate for something, anything that would give hope. They are cut off, alone, and have no one to support them. They are trying to take care of their village, work and maintain a family all at once but without any outside help. You see there are no roads into these places. The only way in or out is by boat. It took us 8 hours on a fast boat to get to Bretaña and up to 5 hours out from there to visit these locations. It is no wonder that they feel so alone and desperate for interaction for others.

Prayerfully consider Partnering with us at ether $10, $15, or $30 a month. That is less than a dollar a day. Together we can make a difference in the Peruvian Amazon River Basin, meeting the needs of these precious people and making an impact that will last generations.
